Waterfalls is one thing I don't have around here. Duluth has a few small ones but nothing like those.

Talk about a death wish.

Mark, Yosemite is a climber's heaven! Years ago, I took a climbing class at Yosemite. We rappeled about 100 feet down a cliff. Most of the time you were hanging from the rope on the way down. Talk about a rush. Of course, now, I am much wiser and don't do such silly things anymore.
Ed, did you go up to Vernal and Nevada falls? There is a trail along the river between these two falls, it is called the mist trail.

Cher, I don't think you're seeing a climber from these pics. We were right at the base camp of the climbers and you could hardly see them without binoculars. They looked like tiny specs. Every once in a while you would see a flash of the sunlight on their gear and that would give away their location.
I agree with you Steve, Yosemite is a slice of heaven.
