OK i know theres a few people here usein lortone slab saws and we know too well they don't have a drain and i have been scoopin the oil and sludge out since i got them both,, well my back said enough haha,, so i put the saw on this cart and soon as i get some more cash im gonna grab a ballcock valve and drill a hole in the pan and the top shelf in the front corner and get something welded in there to screw the valve in so all i have to do is pull the handle and stick a bucket on the bottom shelf with the bags in it already and no more leanin in the dam thing and scoopin it out my back thanks me hahaha

hey i forgot my handy squeege i made it allmost covers the whole bottom of the tray so it grabs the sludge real good and it will even make it that much easyer when i get the drain in i can just pull all of the mess to the drain

tweet it only holds 3 gallon thats why its a pain if i cut steady i would have to clean it out every week----- so when its done i can just pull the lever and let it drain and it will never get that bad cause i dont feel like cleanin it hahaha

John...I got a drain hole in my 14' saw. Sure does make it easy to clean up. I even put a strainer in the box to catch all the big stuff so it don't plug up the drain. Any sheetmetal shop can do that for ya cheap. Or take it to the local high school....get one of the kids taking shop class to do it for ya.

ok so the valve screws right into that donut coupling --- so in the pan it is still flush with the pan so the sludge can drop right in -- like theres no lip inside the pan ?

John, there is no lip on the inside of the pan. It is flush with the bottom. It is welded on the bottom of it.
