Excellent job Zotika. A nicely cut stone and the setting sets it off just right.

you must relate your impressions on working with malachite, Zotika......... KD, I love malachite. That is one of my favorites, but I suppose that I know what you were thinking when asked me for my opinion. It is real mess. Malachite turns everything black (hands, wheels, nails...), and it is so touchy. I use lots of water (all the way from grinding the polishing stage) and use only light pressure, and I am especially careful when I have to make cab for prefabricated mounting. And I usually left malachite to be cut at the end, after I have done all the other stones. It happened to me that malachite got black all over if I forget to add enough water or I press stone too hard to the wheel. And I skip rough grind and start from 180g SiC wheel. That way is easier to avoid accidental over-cutting.
