WOW So pretty. Makes me wanna go back to the Georgia Mtns. I love it there. Of course, we don't have anything close to mtns here in Florida. Just alot of water, which is also pretty, but I prefer the mtns. Thanks for the amazing pics!!! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Tonja ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Real nice with all the green up at elevation. Anything special about the mounds in pic 3? Or are they just hills?

Awesome Susan, nice to see you are getting some rain too. I'm like you, when people ask me what church I attend I just point to the San Francisco Peaks.

PS The sky in the background of the photo of your truck... that is one of the biggest reasons we moved to the Southwest.
That sky is my favorite color! (yes all of the colors!)

Hey Susan, are those all public lands? Or at least available to the public. It looks like a piece of fence in the corner of the third photo. It's such a shame to put fences up on such beautiful land.

BAZ - I've been to your church numerous times, you're welcome to visit mine whenever you like. RON - parts of the Jemez are fenced off because ranchers still graze cattle there. I posted 2 photos of the Valles Caldera to this thread. The Valles Caldera is a volcanic crater. The public is only alllowed in the Valles Caldera by Federal "invitation". Learn more about the Valles Caldera here www.vallescaldera.gov;DS

Nice land, nice pics. I can't believe my wife and I drove through Roswell about 10 years ago, and never even stopped at the alien museum. Too focused on getting to Carlbad Caverns I guess. Missed opportunity.
