Hi - Nice haul. what is right below the Hungarian Agate and above the Labrodite? It looks scenic, so it caught my eye.

Daniel, that is only Idontknowite from this pile. It could be some kind of jasper from Czech republic, because I baught it from one Czech guy.

Wow Zotica a great haul. Especially like the Hungarian moss agate. Is that the Matra Mountains material? Very colorful! That amazonite is spectacular too. Do you know the source?..mel

Mel, you are right, this is agate from Matra Mountains, to be more precise from near Gyöngyöstarján village. Unfortunately, I don't know where that amazonite came from.

Zotika those are all fantastic - amazing how sodalite is different from one place to another. My dad's family is from Hungary small village near papasalomon (sp?) - do you know if there are any finds near there?

Wow - nice haul indeed. Beautiful rocks. And I'm not much for the mineral specimens, but the fluorite on pyrite and the pyrite with quartz & calcite are awesome.

My dad's family is from Hungary small village near papasalomon (sp?) - do you know if there are any finds near there? Sorry, Tweet. I am not that familiar with Hungary. But I'll keep this in mind and if I find something I'll lett you know. I was pleasently surprised that they have so nice agates.
