As an avid Herkimer Miner I will say that those are wonderful!!!! I have read about those Payson Diamonds and have always admired them- They do look a lot like Herkimers- and Yes Ma Nature Cuts a Mean Stone!!!

Ya, for anyone looking to collect these while in AZ, hollar at me beofre hand and i will give your driections. The actaul Diamond point collecting site is back open to the public and allows 1 cubic yard to dig per person. What the AZ herks are best know for are Amethyst Tips. ANd these can only be found through digging. The rest of the 4000 acers is off limit to digging and one can incure a $2500 fine for it. Ya that upper right one is my fav, he was just sitting on some fresh washed mud inbetween and large pine and a small juniper. Just waiting to be picked up.

Wow those are really cool Shain. I'm going to have to tell my sister about them and give her your info when they go back out there after Christmas. I know they've been to Apache Jct. before when they were out there.

WEll i have some collectors that buy them from me, but over the years i only bring home ones i would put in my collection. Sometimes they get traded out or gifted allot too. I do incorperate them into walking sticks i do sometimes. And i will share photos when i finish fixing mine. These three went right into my collection for the time being.
My buddy had a good idea recently to glue a bunch of them to a piece of glass, or frame of some sort. And hang them in a window that gets allot of sun. As they do light up nice like Herkkimers should.

did u get my post about collecting Payson Diamonds?? I really need to read the tutorial on how to work this sight. Is it ok to call Payson Diamonds Herkimers? I looked up Herkimer and they said there from NY? I would like to find somewhere to dig because right now it's only surface collecting.
