Hey Mark, Luke sure is a cutie and you both look like the proud parents, and you should be. Keep taking pictures because they grow up fast. And your kitchen looks great. I like the new look. It really brightens up the room and I'm sure it makes it easier to want to be in there cooking and cleaning now. Did you build the cabinets yourself? I like the style and the wood. It looks like either rift or quarter sawn oak. Nice job. I bet you and your wife are glad that project is finished. Of course, now that the kitchen looks this nice, the dining room will have to be re-done, then the living room, then the bedrooms.....

Great looking little guy there Mark. Looks like he was a bit bored with all the goings on until pic 7. Is that when you started showing him your rock collection? Nice job on the kitchen. I have to start on that project myself pretty soon.

That first picture looks like Luke has just seen the force for the first time. Either that or he has gas. I like the kitchen, it is well laid out. Looks like a comfortable addition to the home. It looks like you have an healthy family. I wish you all the joy I had those days. Luke looks like he is ready to rumble! Good luck. Luke has a good father, unlike the other Luke's father, he was a meanie. May you all share joy, and peace. Cool kitchen also. Good work.

I bet the two of you spend hours staring at him, he is precious.
Your kitchen is AMAZING.........what a huge difference, you did all that by yourselves? Looks like it belongs in a magazine, is that what you do for a living? How long did it take from beginning to end?

Thank you for a little peek into your part of the world across the pond! You have a very nice looking family! Luke looks like a very happy little guy. Mom and dad look as proud as they should be!
Make sure that you take time to get a few prints made if you are shooting all digital. I'm afraid that there may be a whole batch of kids when they get older that will have no photos of their youth!!
Very nice job on the kitchen!! Looks super! The way you have it laid out will make for many tasty meals and such. I do have to comment that I got "the look" when my wife was looking over my shoulder when I was looking at the photos. She told me "See! Look how nice that kitchen looks with the washer/dryer in there. We are planning a redo and from the start she has wanted the washer/dryer in the kitchen. Now that I see how nice it looks I'm all for it!
Thanks again, this is one of my favorite things about the internet. To be able to take a small look at places I may never get the chance to visit! Bill

Luke is a cutie and Mom is a HOTTIE! And I love what you did with your kitchen. We did a major rehab on ours in 2000 that clearly went far less smoothly than yours, since we unknowingly ended up with the contractor from hell. We do love the outcome, but it shouldn't have taken SIX MONTHS to finally get through the last thing on the punch list! We had NO kitchen at all, not even water, for the first three. So where is the really cool looking beach and the casino? I think I want to go there.
