Hi all. I was asked if I could make a brooch pin resembling a pink cancer support pin. I decided the best material to use for it would be some rhodocrosite. I still need to glue the pin to the back, but here is the stone. Approx 1.5" tall x 1" wide x 1/4" deep. Thanks for looking.

That's so cool!! Really nice work there Ed. If you get some time, could you post a description of the process? I'm assuming you did it with a Dremmel.. ?

I forgot to mention that the lady this will belong to has finished all her treatments and is in full remission! She is our adult Sunday School teacher and only missed one Sunday throughout her treatments She has been a real inspiration to our small congregation!!
