boss lady opened her tanning salon thursday...i didnt have much ready and was scrambling to get something...anything....thursday they were putting the display i was to use together when they knocked it over..luckily no glass broke...but it killed just about every bracket that holds it together...so i spent thursday night machining new brackets for the glass out of aluminum...you can see 2 original brackets in 1 of the pics...and the rest i had to machine thursday night...thats why flowers are missing...the falling glass smushed them.
it all came together friday evening...she put 12 necklaces out all displayed in boxes...its all i had...i went to work this morning..got home about 11 am...she called me around 1 and said bring more necklaces...told her i dont have anymore..she said WHAT..and i said yes mam..i didnt want to spend to much on the unknown...she told me to get on the ball....she needs more...so i guess i will.
sorry so long but its not everyday i make a extra $130 bucks...the bails are the simpliest things...22g sterling half hard...some had pleather cords with sterling clasps (4 sold)...some with 1mm sterling 18" chains bought at michaels (6 sold)...in the pics it shows 3 left..the pet wood sold while i was there...i wanted to tell the lady what she was buying...but i decided to just shut up and stay out of the way for the time being.
here is the strange part...nothing was tagged..labeled..or anything..everything was so hurried...people asked her what they were...and she told me she just said...locally made pendants not imported from overseas...thats it....wish i had before pics but i dont had to work...there were 4 necklaces on the top...4 in the middle...4 on the bottom mixed in with small candles she said...some facing the side walk...and some facing the lobby....ok im done typing ;D
can see brackets i had to spend half the night making.
