my parents bought a hunk of this from Kingsley North for me a few years back, and i finally took a hammer to it, knowing that i'd probably not get a saw big enough to slab it. this took a while to shape and it's been in CPP polish since 12/17: ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/krazyD/rsj04.jpg) some closeups: ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/krazyD/rsj05.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/krazyD/rsj03.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/krazyD/rsj02.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/krazyD/rsj01.jpg) the photos were taken indoors in natural light. thanks for looking! KD

Royal Savannah Jasper - HAMMERED. What a nice polish that material takes.

THose look nice. I like the tall thin pieces but the shine really shows on all of them.
So is there a regular Savannah Jasper? LIke Imperial and Royal Imperial.

This is what I was told by Madagascar Minerals in Tuscon a couple years ago. First there was (Misty Mountain Jasper) Then a better deposit was discovered and they chose to re-name it (Royal Savannah) The Royal Savanah looks just like Misty Mountain but usually has more distinct orbs and less of those rust looking specks...I don't know if that info is accurate or not.-Dale Rhode

Beautiful, Beautiful KD! You turn out some amazing rocks, and always nail the shine. I'm quite suprised that there were no Crazy Laces or fishies. Can't wait to see the upcoming batch though. I like the pieces with the oranges and pinks in them, but that blue is such a sweet color. Thanks for sharing. Steve
