All this reminiscing about John from Bearcreek caused me to search through the slab bucket and pull out some of the material I've gotten from him over the last couple of years, most of which I forgot I had. His material is always so outstanding, thought you might like to take a peek. If anyone else has any Bearcreek rough, post photos here. I never get tired of looking. ;DS West Texas Plume Agate Laguna Agate Bruneau Preform More West Texas Plume A piece I totally forgot I had

Wow! great agate and great closeups! Love the eyes in that second pic and Lagunas often have eyes but it looks more like the eyes in Luna Agate to me......mel

Mel, I think you're right. I believe it is Luna agate. My brain doesn't function like it did before I hit 50.

*L* Just wait till you're pushing 60 Susan. I often go into a room now and can't for the life of me remember why I went in there. Just stand stupidly in the middle of the room scratching my head till I decide I better go look at some rocks!....mel

LOL Mel - I've been doing that for 10 years! I know what you mean, though, CRS. (Can't Remember Shit). I'm going to be 55 this year. I wasn't supposed to live this long, which is probably why I haven't saved any $ for retirement.

Don't worry susan, there is life after 55! John really did have some of the nicest west Texas plumes. You need to get yourself a grinder and turn those slabs into cabs.

i miss Bear. hope he and his wife are doing OK in Katrina country. KD Got an email from John about two weeks ago. They are doing good, busy as can be and getting busier. John's mom is visiting this week from CO too so that will be a treat for them. I miss him too KD.
