Wow, nice haul and great variety!
Sounds like you just hooked another addict. Might have to start calling you "Pusher" instead of Stoner. ;D -Don

Glad to hear you're corrupting people as you travel!! With all that good stuff just laying around how could a resident not be a rockhound?

NO. NO. NO. Did I say no we aren't going to have to move there? In case I didn't, NO, we don't have to move there. WOOOOOHOOOOO!!! Besides rocks and sunsets, there's really not much there.

That's great Stoner! I'll be in Las Cruces for a week long conference in mid September.. I'm sure it'll still be hot then but I know what I'll be doing in my down time.

In the second pic the green blue one at the top left is really neat looking. What is it?

So, who is in the Las Cruces area? Can I ask? I'm emailing my cousin who lives there, perhaps he could a.) collect for me, and b.) collect for $$? Are there open rock sites that people can go to, or do you have to get permission from private landowners? If I can persuade my cousin to go hounding, any advice?
I would really love to grab rocks like the above pics! I tumble, and am going to start cabbing once I have time to drive the 100+ miles to buy the saw (after high school basketball season). I guess I'm finally at the point where I will buy rocks! I'm cussing you all out right now, because I'm spending more $$ on rocks!
I'm stuck in SW NE, no rocks here, unless you count my parking lot pickings, LOL. I've finally graduated to real rocks, I guess.
Thanks for any info! K
