Took a rockhounding practice run today as Fergie is going to Woodward Ranch with me and hasn't been on an expedition yet. We drove out North and West of Albuquerque to look for our favorite tumbling rock. ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y27/NMrocks/Misc%20NM%20Images/MtTaylor.jpg) Fergie learned that there are dangers in the desert. Cactus. ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y27/NMrocks/Misc%20NM%20Images/CactusFerg.jpg) Big angry things with horns. ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y27/NMrocks/Misc%20NM%20Images/SpringBabies.jpg) And she didn't like being left in the truck. ![](http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y27/NMrocks/Misc%20NM%20Images/FergieMiffed.jpg) We will post photos of the rocks tomorrow after we get them cleaned up. Ready for Woodward! See you there! Susan and Fergie

aaaaaahhhh...Fergie is a cutie! It looks like it was a perfect day for rockhounding ventures. Can't wait to see what you two brought home. I love the hanging crystal on your mirror and a doggie bell is a great idea. Have fun in Woodward! Steve

No, Fergie does not look happy about being left behind. Looking forward to meeting you both.

Hey Susan, looks like you and Fergie really had a nice day! Just love those rocks. I put a bell on my last Springer, and she hated it. Every time rang, she'd stop dead in her tracks. Then she figured out that if she walked very slow and carefully, it wouldn't ring. Kind of defeated the purpose in the bell!
