Tim sent me a box of his Utah agates and I must say, they are really nice. The colors in them are unreal. The larger pieces. Tumbler sized pieces. Some closeups of the larger pieces. Thanks Tim, I see some really nice cabs coming out of these.

Ed-
Great to see you finally got the box. Hey, in picture 4 in the upper left corner is an extremely weird hunk of rock. It's the one that looks like Spam. What is it? What do you think? Steveholmes and I have mulled over this (I've got a ton of them) for awhile and are quite perplexed. I don't know if it'll polish but I thought I'd send it to you because of it's "weirdness value." It almost looks like bone and is quite pourous but not celled like dino bone.
The red "swirly" one will polish up nicely and will make some good cabs. I've been told by a local rock shop owner that it's coprolite but I'm a little skeptical of that diagnosis.
What do you think of the the red agates that I sliced thru? Those are the one's that are a little brittle. Do you think they'll shine up on a lap??? I think those small red "popcorn" agates will turn out nicely too.
Before shipping this out, I was quite perplexed on what to send you as you already have so much killer material. I hope you get some use outta those guys.

Tim, I was kinda wondering about that piece myself. It sort of looks like a brain. I'll just have to cut into it and see how it cabs. Oh, and never worry about me having so much killer material, one can NEVER have too much killer material to work with. Someday a young rockhound is going to come into some killer material at an estate sale-mine!

WTG Tim, nice bunch of rocks you sent to Ed and WTG Ed on the receiving end. I really like that dark one with the red lines in it, that's cool. Lots of beautiful stuff there, cool brain/spam too. Have you cut into that one yet?
