Very nice and shiney! I like most the heart-shaped one in the first pic, but you have a lot of beautiful rocks there.

Nice shine! Those last 2 are certainly attention grabbers.
The small pet wood at the top has an elephant in it. And I think that may be a St. Benard sitting beside it.

Nice! Those turned out pretty sweet Condor! The one on the right in the last pic looks like some kind of orbicular stuff... I'd have to guess that it is one of the more unique finds from the blitz... I have some crosses and shapes I cut from the WWR material turnning right now... still in 60/90 but I might try to get some photos when I recharge...
Good job Gil!

Beautiful! I especially like the one on the right in the last pic! Now I am just that much more impatient for next year's Blitz! Thanks for the great pics!

Kim, and all, here is the way I did it.
60/90 six, maybe seven weeks (can't remember) in the rotary, and recharged every week.
120/220, one week, still in rotary.
400F, one week, still in rotary.
Then I went to the vibe. Some in the 10lb vibra-sonic, and some in the 4lb mini-sonic. In the vibra-sonic I used aluminum oxide, and CPP in the mini-sonic just to see if there would be a difference. It appears that there wasn't. They were left for three days in each. I'm quite sure I could have done them in the first stage rotary only then have gone to the vibes, but I had so many that I wanted them all at once.

Gil, my first batch is finally in polish and it is about time, I started them the day I got back. With another barrel full MAYBE half way through 60/90, beside my tumblers is a clear plastic 4 gallon container three quarters full of tumbler stuff from the trip. I can hear my great, great grandchildren saying "Are we ever going to get to the bottom of this bloody hard stuff?"
After seeing your rose quartz from awhile back I still think I will bust up the big piece I have and do them next, then maybe some carnelian (sp) I brought back but I know that will take twice as long as the rest so can expect to take them out of polish the day before I leave for our next trip there in April 2008.
Keep on rolling my friend.
