well i was going to wait until it was finished but im now in a situation where there will be no time for possibly 3 months to work on it...plus the money i was saving for a set of nova wheels is needed elsewhere. i still have more work to do as you can see...my welder did say he will come early 1 morning and weld the sides of the coolant pans on for me....so i can work on it a little at home...but basicly im building my own titan.....of course pics suck. it is sitting on my coffee table....yes its big. hand rests are adjustable up and down so you can set your hands where ever you like...pic of hand rest in lowest position pic of hand rest position in highest position the peice on top is also adjustable the 1 with the angle...it slides forward and backward....and the back of the gaurd will also be cut and slotted...it will be adjustable up and down....this way you can run anysize wheel you like 4 thru 8 inch...the angle will have something glued on the inside to help with water spray like a peice of leather motor is 1 hp....and can be bought for about 230 bucks...so far i have about 400 in this 1...will go on a formica base....special thanks to 2 members here for there input and advice...could have not got this far without yaw...im still gonna work on it...what i can do at home...i just cant go in early or work late for awhile...kev

Nice setup Kevin! You make it look so professional. Sorry you won't be able to use it for awhile.

ya it will eventually have a place for end plates...i just need to figure out which ones i want to use.
i am going to use a fountain pump for the water system....which i have already bought....the pans will have a return system to a resevoir or maybe a 5 gallon bucket.....there will be a set of 2 gang valves of 3 each.....1/8 hose..with 3 running to each side of the gaurds....top feed....will be able to use 1 at a time...kev.

Damn Kev, you were getting so close to getting it finished. Oh well, as with tumbling rocks, patience, patience! It really does look good.

To me it seems more than half finished, but you're right, the "small" datails are great time eaters!

Lookin' good, Kevin. When you shine up your first rock, you'll forget all about the struggle to get it done.

warren the motor is 1725 rpm...it seems to be made for the woodworking industry....when i found this out....i mentioned to ed that the motor was a jet brand....and he said that that brand was well known in the woodworking industry...and wouldnt call them junk...seems woodworkers dont want to buy junk tools either ;D after i got the motor...i was surprised how big and well made it seems to be...sat it on the floor...fired it up...came up to speed...shut it off...darn thing never even twitched on the carpet....i think it will be just fine and last a long while....the thing is about 39" long. i might finish it and try to sell it fairly cheap....since it will be probably 6 months before i can get any extra money for wheels...oh ya bought motor here www.etoolclub.com/index.cfm?area=shop&action=detail&iid=11513 ...kev.
