Howdy folks, Ladybeabea ( Kate) has been giving me a "photobucket for dummies (me)" tutorial on setting up subalbums to supposedly increase my picture storage at that site. Photobucket says I keep getting my album too full and since I post so many pics, I keep having to delete older pics to make room in my album which I guess frustrates some of you that try to check out older threads. Anyway, I set up a subalbum and will see how that works to increase photo storage so I can leave pics up longer. Here are a few sample pics I took to check out how it works. Thanks for looking.....Mel One of my hands down favorite materials ever and can't find any at all these days Stefonite or Stefoinite from Wyoming: An old favorite, Teepee Canyon Agate from South Dakota: And finally, some of the darnedest neat looking Marra Mamba ( Mount Brockman) Tigereye from Australia I've ever seen. All the squiggly pattern at the top is composed of tightly stacked bands of tigereye, red jasper and hematite. Really wild stuff!

Mel, Nice slabs once again. I really like that Teepee Canyon Agate. I have a small piece of the Stefonite material, and I like that one as well. It always reminds me of lightning strikes. I was thinking how much fun it would be to come over to your house, look at all your slabs, and drool all over your collection. Steve

Sabre52 was a quick learner and Boy! am I ever glad that he did his homework! I can't tell all of you at RTH how frustrating it has been to read through older posts in which there were multiple responses full of high praise for this fellow's work but in his initial thread posting there would only be little boxes with an "X" where the image should have been. Perhaps it is just as well that Mel is re-posting his favorite pix. Now those of us who are Newbies here can also drool, and sigh, and get chills as we gaze longingly at these gorgeous rocks and specimens. Mel, that Stefonite is exquisite! And the goos bumps aren't settling down on the other two either. Thanks so much for posting these pix. Now exactly where is it that you live, 'cause Mitzi and I are thinking we just might need to make a raid, er, I mean a road trip. Lady B

THat tiger eye is amazing. I like the ribbons of color and the patterns they make. Gotta sat though, that tee pee is outa sight! I've never even seen Stefoinite before. Very unusual and pretty. Nice slabs. Steve

Just wonderin', Mel, about all the slabs in your collection. Do you prefer them just sawcut? (not enough time to cut 'em, never mind polish 'em) Or polished? (one side or both)

Rich: Most my slabs are just saw cut these days since my vibrating lap died. I do have those Richardson ranch high speed sander, low speed polisher rigs but haven't gotten around to setting them up yet. Mainly I just use the raw slabs for licking and looking as polishing just takes too long! *L*....mel
