;DI just love the rocks that Jamie sent! Thank you Jamie!! She sent a lot of the chrysacolla. I sure didnt expect that. The other rocks are gonna be great for tumbling and cabbing. I was the lucky one that got the big red jasper boulder. I've named it "Big Red" My husband has already claimed it. When he first saw it he said "Boy, that sure is purty. It's gonna make some nice slabs and cabs." Right now though it sits on my work table so I can just look at it. Here are the pics of what I received. The coin in the photos is a quarter. Sorry for the blurry pics. Big Red Chrysacolla A mix of good stuff Thanks for looking. ~~Mitzi~~

Mitzi--we made out like the proverbial bandits, didn't we? My rock pile from Jamie is posted in this sub-board, too. I don't know about your USPS person but mine isn't real thrilled with all this FRBing that's been going on. I see you shared your gift from Jamie with your hubby, too. It feels good to share, doesn't it? Enjoy all your rocks. I know my hubby and are loving ours! Lady B

The "Big red" is so cool! I wander what did the postal workers say while handling this pack!

Funny you should ask that Adrian. This package and the one I got from Steve (horsinaround) came on the same day. (I've got a couple of packages last week from e-bay too) Anyway, the mailman said,"what are you ordering, rocks?" You should have seen his face when I said, "yes". I think he thought I had rocks in my head. I just said hubby and I worked with rocks and left it at that, because he didnt seen too interested.

That's also a funny side of our hobby, Mitzi, to watch the reactions of "normal" people when they face to our hobby Adrian

I had an amazing week, too, Mitzi, but I don't think my Mail Lady (that sounds weird) was equally thrilled. This is what she had to carry up onto my porch on Wednesday in the scorching heat and clinging humidity of a lovely August day in Florida. And then another FRB arrived on Thursday, and yet another on Friday. I'm still trying to get all the pictures taken so I can show everyone just how generous and reliable RTHers are! Have fun with your rocks! [Stop licking that jasper!!] Lady B

I was also the recipient of a flat rater from Jamie. Turns out my whining was one of the reasons she offered the box in the first place. I got to tell my wife "See, being obnoxious does have its benefits!" ;D ;D ;D Any way, here is the generous box or rocks I received from her Lots of blue green, I'm assuming chrysocolla, and several types of agate. My saw will be busy tomorrow. Even my wife, the one who says "What are you gonna do with that?" every time I receive a box of rocks was impressed. Actually to be fair to her she is just in awe of every box of rocks as I am. Thanks so much to the great people here for sharing with us less fortunate. TonyM
