If these are only PREpolished, I wander how will they look when polished. I can already see you in their reflection while taking the photos.

Thanks for posting these pix, Steve. Now Bob and I can have a better sense of what we can expect with our haul of the geodes we got from you. I really like them. Lady B

Looking good Steve! If you can get that $#@! insidious polish out of all that druze and cracks, please let us know how you did it.

Wow Steve those are really nice. I especially like photos 2 & 3 where the agate looks like is hatching out of the surrounding stone.

Those are really great Steve! Did you find all those yourself? That piece with the inclusions and snowflakes is incredible!

Amazing that you tumbled geodes. It seems like it would be impossible to get the grit out of all the crevices. Beautiful stones!

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. These Geodes are the Dugwyat Geodes found here in Utah. And, yes, I dug these all myself. They are found in a hard, heavy clay layer and can be hard to get out of the bank whole without damaging or breaking them. Hopefully I will be able to get the polish out of the cracks...it seems like the burnish helps with it. Crossing my fingers... Steve

Those look very similar to Rogerson Geodes, I use Rogerson geodes as filler if I don't have a full batch, and they turn out very similar. I sent some to agatemaggot and he was making candleholders out of them. He also soaked some in something similar to tidybowl and they turned blueish. Nice batch you got goin there..................Tony
