We started at 4 am and hunted until 4pm.These came from three different hills.some surface some digging. jasper thats all over the place a nice surface find new spot hopefully more later after acid bath can't wait to cut this orange peel agate fancie agate fancie agate I came home with about 20+ agates what a great day!! Wow, great haul! Man, that is some really nice agates. The third one down looks like coral. Wow again!

Yes the 3rd photo is coral sometimes the whole hill is coral.If we find coral and we find agate

that second picture... I can see how these are in the somewhat same category as the dryhead and the tepee - all three are so striking - I have to say these three are now at the top of my list...unbelieveable. Not that I can afford right now - but do you ever sell your finds on ebay Fairburned? (or on the buy,sell board here for that matter)

These are some of the most gorgeous agates I have seen. And to be able to go out and hunt them yourself.
Makes me almost want to move to SD. Nah! Just kidding. I cant stand the cold.

It tends to cool off a bit in the winter but..no bugs,not as much ground cover..unless it snows..Mel I agree these look very fairburn like kinda like those wonderfull dryheads you posted wow thanks. I do sell some agates Pm me if your interested.

Those are incredible finds! I love the second and third from the bottom. Absolutly great fortification agates. Are they all from your vacinity?

Thanks all,I live in such wonderful rock,agate,mineral and fossil rick area I wish work didn't get in the way.I went out yesterday on the prairie and a couple nice bubble gum and fairburn agate.
