I traded the other mermaid tear ocean wave OJ so I did an other from the same slab, but different shape I really liked the yellow floaters and how they were through out even though the agate wen from green to milky to pink. The next one is Morgan Hill. I cut it very strangely. It can't go into a bezel setting. It is meant for the beaders; I will drill through the side and they will bead through it. Let me know your thoughts; good and bad

Nice! That second one could also be wire wrapped without drilling.
Drilling in Morgan hill can be a risky proposition given how that material is often prone to cracking and fractures.

That second one would be beautiful in a beaded necklace. Actually the shape you chose it could have a bell cap glued on and put in a necklace, especially if there is a problem with the stone crackin and fracturing. You done want all that hard work to go down the drain. Tami

I like the way the top of the first one curves slightly to the left. Much more provacative than if it didn't. Good job on both.

Lovely shapes to both of them Spirit, I have never cut a cab so I'm at a bit of a loss, but the shape of the second is fab. I like the angular curves, and the unsymetrical shape, far more appealing to the soul. OJ's a wonderful rock, with amazing variations in colour pattern and scale. I take it the yellow floaters are orbs trapped in transparent(ish) matrix? The red looks great against the yellow for sure and I like the colour gradient to blue as you look down the piece. It is strange how the yellow patterns run the same - no colour variation there. Very nicely done. The Morgan Hill Jasper is just beautiful, I love the way with the shape draws the eye around, diverting the viewers interest from the yellow orb to the red mottled below and back again. Really eyecatching! Thanks for sharing your hard work, it's great to see. Cheers, Harry.

Thank you everyone. I'll have to consider the bell cap for the morgan hill. I did a concave cut into the right side to try and give it a shape (elongated barrel) sitting inbedded into a shape (an unequal rectangle). I had it more more equal sided, but the top looked funny so I kept shaping until it looked right/better.
