It's my next door neighbor Bill's 50th B-day today, and as he always goes out of his way to help me out when I need it, I decided to put something together for him. I cut a 30x40 cab of Obsidian (hard to get a good pic of) And planted it in a belt buckle He's been taking a little interest in my rocks lately so I think he's gonna like it. By the way, this and the other stones I cut today can be seen over on the Cab board. Thanks for lookin! ;D

That is so cool. I don't wear belts but with that buckle I'd wear a belt...

Oh that's super BeefJ, I'm sure he's going to be proud to wear that, it's great. The dark colour of the stone goes well with the shiny silver finish on the buckle. You certainly matched the two up beautifuly, they really work as a whole. I like the cab very much, I can just see some banding in there, it looks nice and subtle, understated but attractive to the eyes at the same time. The finish on the stone is fabulous, maybe if you don't shine 'em up so much in the future they'll be easier to photograph Thanks for showing us the fruits of your labour, it's greatly apprecciated. Cheers, Harry.

Now that's a buckle a Southwestern person would wear. Seriously, though - where did you get the buckle? That's a terrific buckle....

That is one gorgeous buckle! If the neighbor doesn't like it report him to the artistry-appreciation police!

Hey Beef, I love your ceiling fan... The only reason I can say that is because that Obsidian has a killer shine. Great worksmanship.
