It's like Cracker Jack, you never know what your surprise will be inside. (I'm sure I'm not the first person on this forum to make that analogy).
Lucky day. Maybe you should buy a lottery ticket.

Well, if ya cut open a thunderegg and find a quarter inside, that kinda proves they're not all a million years old! ;D ;D

Ok, I'll bite, how did the quarter get inside the Thunderegg? Most of all, it is a 1973. I do not remember any volcanic activities back then. Hmmmmm/.

Ok guys, you caught me and ratted on me. Next time I try to pass something off as millions of years old, I will put my quarter will Fred Flintstone on it in. LOL

You can't fool me. That quarter was already on the outside of the thunder egg in the first pic! Neat surprise! I still get confused about thunder eggs and geodes from the outside; now I'm confused from the inside, too. Lady B

Soo Cool, Wrong metal composition for that quarter though. It would have to be brass or something to be that old, or not. Thank's for sharing,
