Here's a couple of slabs from my collection cut from an end piece off a jasper the Rockkitten sent me. As I said before, it's one of the coolest rocks that I've opened up so far! .....

That certainly is an interesting piece. Some of the lighter areas look like flames.

Can we have a cab naming contest before the cab is even cut?
How about "Hope's eternal flame."
It isn't as original as it sounds - I stole it from "Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus." ;D
But seriously, those are some really neat slabs. They look dry - do the colors pop out as much as I hope they will when wet?

Nice. Great patterns and color. Lots of little candle flames there. Will make some great cabs. I see that your patiently waiting to buy a grinder too..... and waiting... and waiting ;D Dan

That's not a rock - It's a chopper paint job theme Nice Work Sir!!! Thanks very much for sharing the pictures, I like the flamey patterns very much - that would make some awesome cabs - hope the Genie comes out of the bottle soon!! Cheers, Harry

Randy that is one sweet piece of rock - that was my first love in rocks (porcelain jasper) - I think you can do that with your vibe anyways - who needs a genie with results like yours!
I still love porcelain jasper, the stuff I bought turned out to me mostly white with gray/black veins, not much pink & purple!

Wow Randy, those are fine examples of the type! I really like the darker form of porcelain/exotica jasper, especially with the neat geometrics and all the red.....Mel

Great slabs! That is an awesome pattern with the 'flames' - reminds me of a stained glass piece for a window.
