I love that first one. Looks like if it were cut it might have little pockets of druzy in it.

Roger, I really like that 1st one! The last one looks like it's a half- eaten Resses Peanut Butter cup. If you can't figure out what to do with them...send em' my way. I'll figure something out. Steve

Haha, there ya go! I will be posting a new contest, soon, with recipes that look like rocks; that first one looks kinda like the potatoes in my pantry, it even has 'eyes'! (I think I need to throw away the potatoes....)

The first one is so special! I'd polish it on its natural surface.

Boy that first one is kind of unusual. It's fortified so would you call it a type of Fairburn? Hope you can saw it open and post a pic. I really want to see the inside!....Mel

Oh Yeah!! They look really tastey!!! Thanks for sharing the photos, what a cracking set of finds! I love the intriguing pattern on the first one, those little holes and the swirly patters are most interesting. The second and third are going to be great when they're polished up, I like the banding that's visable, I'm sure your going to have fun getting them all tumbled and cabbed! Thanks again for sharing them with us. Cheers, Harry.

That first one is so interesting I have to keep going back to look at it. THe other 2 aint too shabby either.
Where is this railroad butte? Is this outside of Rapid City? Or do you have to drive a ways to get there?

Thanks, Mitzi, rail road buttes is east of Rapid City about 20 miles it's kinda the start of the badlands of SD.It is a good spot to go get a quick agate fix.I have many fossills from that area'' invertebrate types'' . Roger
