Finally have a batch finished. It only took 3 months(LOL) and I enjoyed every minute. I love checking each and every stone whenever they're rinsed. It would take me forever to either recharge or move to next stage. I would get lost in the stones. Anyway here are a few pics. Enjoy. ~~Mitzi~~

Now, that's a nice colorful batch. Worth the wait, I daresay. Far better looking than my first. Good job.

Wow Mitzi that is a great batch! It is easy to see the extra TLC you put in to tumbling them. It is a batch you should be extremely proud of. Bravo! Daniel

WOW! You did it, Mitzi! You birthed a batch of beauties! What a neat variety of colors, shapes, and sizes!! I love the picture jaspers! And the one that looks like it could be a lace--has a little white mum on it near the leftish top of the final pic.
I hope my first batch turns out as pretty as yours. I guess I'll have an answer in another two weeks or so.
Congratulations on a job well done!!! SO what are you tumbling now? ;D

You seem to have a monster tumbler there! Very nice batch, the picturals caught my eyes. And so did the two dendritics in the base of the last pic.

THanks ya'll for the nice complements. I am pretty obsessed with my tumbles.
Kate: I love the picture jaspers too. Your right about the one with the little white flower, it is mexican lace. It now resides at my mothers house. It's one of several she picked out to take home. I have several things going now in various stages. Some glass I bought from Horsinaround, the first of that will be ready in about 3 or 4 weeks. 3 barrels in rough grind, 1 in 2nd stage and 1 in 3rd stage. All just misc. stuff like the first batch.
Adrian: It does look like a big batch, but it is from a 3lb barrel. I wish I could get a better pic of the biggest piece of the pic jasper. It's a great scene. There's a road with trees running beside it. The road is down in a valley with hills and mountains and the sun is coming up over the mountains. So far it's my favorite piece of pic jasper. There are some pictures in the dendritics too, trees on a snowy mountainside.

Excellent batch of tumbles Mitzi! That's a wonderful selection you have, and what a lovely shine! That's going some for a first batch! Can't wait to see what you've got in store for us for the future!!! I love the picture jaspers - they are truly beautiful and unique stones. And I can certainly sympathise with your "slow" sorting between stages. It just gives me somthing to do for the weekend! Thanks very much for sharing your batch! Keep up the good work. Cheers, Harry.
