OK, OK, I've had it ;D Y'all are ruining my surprise. I gave snowdog special instructions to send me a fabulous packet of crazy lace for my holiday-sort-of-secret-santa-gift-exchange. I also had him pack some for me, stuff that's not too good for a newbie. Well, gosh it all, if half of you haven't also gone and bought some from him. How on earth is Lady B going to find me someone who DOESN'T have any of snowdog's crazy lace -- I think I'll call it snowlace for short - to be my gift recipient? Dash-it-all, even Lady B has bought some for her hubby. Maybe I'll just have to keep it all for myself, huh? Huh??? ;D It's really pretty, too And to show you how miffed I am, I'm not even going to show you any pictures. Not one. Nope. Well, maybe a few. My daughter wanted the bright blue in there. And those are just the ones for me, not mine for gifts! Want to see snowdog's new styrofoam pellets? Here's a closeup of some (as close as I know how to get with my camera), and my spray bottle is broken... But I do want to let you know, that snowdog scoundrel used 4 pieces of paper in packing my FRB. [glow=red,2,300] FOUR!![/glow] That means I only got 10 pounds of packing material! I've been robbed! ;D ;D Well, anyway, I hope you all feel proud of yourselves, ruining my nice gift suprise. I think I'll just have Lady B take me off of the list, sniffle, sniffle Amy

I'm not trying to speak for everyone Amy, but I have to say, after seeing the stuff that snowdog sent, you can NEVER have too much crazy lace!

Hey Amy, the Crazy Lace I bought from Snowdog is for Bob!!...and he is now getting even with me for not sharing everything I had been getting in the past, and now he's not sharing his Crazy Lace with me!!!
Besides, there could be a Newbie who joins in the next few weeks who won't have gotten any of the Snow-Lace and then you might get that Newbie's name and just think of how excited that Newbie will be getting Snow-Lace for the Holidays!!!
I like Snowdog's styro-foam! It's almost as good as the scale he used to send Bob's Lace!
Dave is one Crazy (Lace and all) Fellow and we all LOVE him for it! ;D

Oh, yes, beautiful bots. I pulled them out first thing, then sprinkled them back in for the photo shoot, now they're back in a special place again!
Y'all know I'm mostly kidding, right? I'll send my holiday gift to whoever is assigned to me, even if they already have pounds and pounds, even if it is right back to snowdog!!

Haha, I will trade some geodes for some of that crazy lace!! Wait, maybe not. Geodes are so fun to cut/crack! Altho, after spending lots of time and 2 chisels trying to 'crack' one, maybe not. The outside of most of those geodes is definately harder than my cheap steel chisels! But, a few (10-12) good whacks with the hammer, and I did actually 'crack' one. I also had a blast cutting some, since Snowdog sent so darn many!

Can you really ever have too much lace? I think not.
Karen, you need to get a masonry chisel, any other kind is just not hard enough steel.

That is the great thing about Crazy Lace- You can never ever have too much- Let see- I bought 10 Lbs from Arkierock hound- and Puppie sent me a Box of MO Lace- and I bought some from Rock Shed- and of course Snowdog- And I got a few odds and ends from variuos people- so NOPE can never have too much lace!

!!!! so that is where my "tumble" stuff went !! --- I put a load in the tumbler and it all disappeared in two hours ---- looked like ground up styro pellets --- never trust what it says on the outside of a box ! ---- thought that packing material was more colorful than most of the styro I'd been using ! --- maybe next time I should put on my glasses ! ---------- if you don't want to give any of that up for "gift exchange" , since everyone has some --you can always send it back and trade for something else--- ( stuff I haven't listed yet !) ;D
