Hi! Yesterday I begun and today I finished to polish four rocks. Two of them are new while two are older. First, the new ones: A pet wood that I found in my trip to the rock fair in the last week-end: The colors are not very spectacular, but the wooden structure is so pretty, both in cross section and in length: Above:cross section (true colors) ; below - longitudinal The second rock is a thunder-egg without most of its "yolk", but still interesting. The matrix (rhyolite) also took a good polish. Now the old ones were found when I was this summer in a trip and I took my daughter with me. There are two agates. I polished that one on a natural surface and on a cut, the other surfaces were too rough for natural surface polishing. And that one has a nice crust on one of its sides. It also has a transparency that allows to see the stripes in depth. Thanks for looking, Adrian

Very nice Adrian. My fav is the last one. I really like rocks that show depth/ and or floaters. Thanks for sharing! Daniel

Very nice Adrian! Love the close ups on the wood (is that palm?), and the agates you found are outta sight!

I can see right down between the bands in the last photo. That is cool.

Thanks, folks!
RockyGibraltar, the transparence of the last one is indeed special, the photo doesn't reveal all of it.
Brian, I don't know if it is palm wood, but those dots make me believe that, too.
