Wow! Those are some amazing rocks. I have never seen them before, that I can remember. Great job.

Wow.
I'm sure it's partially the quality, but that batch of Montanas is perfect. My few attempts at that stone have come out horribly fractured. *sigh* I'll just drool over these next time I get the urge to tumble some of mine.

So, you have a Canon 12x zoom camera! When I saw your thread, I firstly put on my sun-glasses and then had a look. I'm happy I did so. Very hard to pick a favorite, but I agree with Kate, that piece is gorgeous. Adrian

WOW! Don, what did they look like in the rough? I've got a lot of stuff that was sold to me as "snakeskin agate." Once past the gnarly exterior, the insides look a lot like these. Now I know where I'm trying to get to with them. But do you think my snakeskin agate is actually Montana agate?

BEAUTIFUL Don - You're the reason I keep this pair of sunglasses by the computer you know! One day we'll be seeing Don's stones in a movie - where the bad guy will be caught when they see his reflection in the bowl of tumbled stones.

THOSE ARE BEAUTIFUL!
Christmas trees! I love that! Ya know what else? I've noticed that Montana agate also has alot of dendrites that resemble suits of cards. (clubs, spades etc...) Don...see if you can find some in your batch!

OK, I bow to the rock god....as Kev said, you the man! I've got some agate, and it's (finally) getting a nice shine, but it still has fractures and stuff. Yours don't! Do you do anything to your rocks before you tumble, do you pick only the non-fractured pieces, can you get non-fractured pieces???
How the heck do you do that? You are amazing, and so are your rocks! Holy Cow Wow! Thanks for the great pictures.
