What a fun little trip Beef! You always bring back a truckful, and yes...I am Envious. I really like that yellow Jasper with the agate banding. Looks like a nice bunch of fire agate possibilities too. Be sure to post some "fresh off the saw" pics. I wouldn't mind 80 degrees here. I'm still waiting for my lawn to dry off enough to cut. Thanks for sharing your trip. Steve

"Sunny and cool(I don't think it got over 80 degrees yesterday)". That's funny Brian! I hope it cools down a bit by Nov 1st! Nice haul, love those close ups of the red moss. You must be building up quite an agate pile of your own by now. I see a great estate sale in the future!

Man what a haul. How lucky you are to be able to drive out and find such great rock.

I agree, looks like some fire agate possibilities. Now is this all surface collected or do you dig in a location like that?

Beef - those rocks are a great find - I cant stress enough how it gets to me that I cant go out anywhere in the UK and find stuff like that. The last few closeups (third from bottom) are my favs. A lot of those samples look ready for the tumbler without much breaking up to do? Is that a "horn toad" youre holding? Like the one in the film "the outlaw josey wales?" Mark

Thanks guys! Steve next time you're working down this way let's hook up and do some houndin'! Ed, 80 degrees IS cool when you find yourself winding down from 4 straight months of triple digits BTW you got me thinking of all the great things the next generation of AZ RTHers are gonna find in my backyard shortly after I start pushin' daisies Jeremy, thanks! Grab Joi, call in sick and take a little road trip. I'll hook you up! ;D Brad these are mostly surface finds. I have to liberate a few from the ground, but mostly it's stuff I trip across. Mark, a lot of this is tumbler (and cab) ready! Yes that be a horny toad.. been a while since I seen Outlaw Jose Wales, but I'm sure it's the same kinda mini dinosaur

It's always good to see the Beef Master doing what it is he does best...making as all sit back and daydream of rock hounding out in the desert. Top haul, mate. Thanks for the pictures.
