Back in early September I posted some pix of a wonderful gift of rocks from Ed ( emyhro4048) that brought some California sunshine all the way over here to FLorida. forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/index.cgi?board=Pictures&action=display&thread=1188770759I've been able to start tumbling the Mariposa Red Vein Quartz that Ed sent and I thought I would post pix that show some of the progress after just two weeks of tumbling. Here is what the stones looked like originally: Here they are after one week in 60-90: Here they are after two weeks in 60-90: I love the feel of these stones--they are smoothing out nicely and have a wonderful coolness to them and here in Florida...Cool is Good! The stones are back in 60-90 for at least another week. I will continue posting pix as they move through the tumbling process. Thanks again, Ed. I really love my " CA sunshine". Kate

Your welcome Kate. They are looking good. They really turn out nice. I have another bunch going right now with a few odds and ends thrown in for good measure. Take care all,
Ed M.
