I had a little time last weekend to finally get back into some cutting. There were some interesting pieces in Snowdog's last box that were just calling out and had to be dealt with(plus a few others from Kate's prize box)! It's kinda funny how... once you get started - you want to cut everything. So after about 2 hours, here's what I come out with. Hope you like them! Snowdog's "Ugly Woods".... A couple of Bog pieces(I think??)...... A few cool Agates to finish it off. It's hard to see, but these have a cool sage pattern...... These are very small but awesome!....... Thanks for looking! Nice saw work. I really like the reddish orangish bog, real sweet.

Nice cuts Dave! Love that rainbow wood, and the first 'small but awesome' looks mighty Brenda-ish

Thanks Guys! It felt good to actually get out and work on some rocks - kinda going stir crazy from all the overtime at work lately. I have a bunch more to cut - maybe this weekend - and some more pics. Curt/Tony - That bog was pretty hard to cut with all the open pockets in it - wanted to fracture when I cut it. The other orange colored is actually Rooster Tail stone. It has a feathery sort of pattern to it with pockets of clear mixed in. I want to try and make another cut to see if I can show some better detail. Brian - Yup, that's a Brenda! I resurected a few of the smaller ones that you had sent me. I can't believe the beautiful and delicate patterns coming out of those. Most are very 'Patriotic' with the Red, White and Blue colors! Very cool!! Stefan - Not sure what you mean there?? But a weekend of cutting might be the the thing you need!! Ohh! - re-Onion! I get it now!!! Onions are good if you have a cold, but the rocks and the cutting will clear the head every time!! ;D Hope you find some time!
