We finished our first batch yesterday. THEY LOOK GOOD!!!!
We started the end of July finially finished a load.
Started with a C/E twin 3lb tumbler. Quickly acquired a Thumbler's tumbler twin 3lb tumbler. shortly after that purchased a Lortone twin 6lb tumbler. Added a Ultra Vibe 10 last month.
After countless camping trips out to the desert gathering rocks. Ordering material & swaping with a bunch of fine folks from this site. Reading three books, & acking dozen of questions on this site.
WE HAVE OUR FIRST BATCH OF POLISHED ROCKS!!!!

We don't have a digital camera. I will take some with the regular camra, but it will take awhile to do the whole film thing.
As for getting on for Christmas . . . it would be nice. And second on my list. Right now, I am attempting to find a good used rock saw.
Maybe if we are all good boys & girls Santa will get us BOTH.

I believe Sands and I both did. His is a better camera, but he paid more. I got a factory refurbished Olympus Camdia D-390 for &85.00 {including shipping} and, other than the fact I can't take really close up close ups, I'm very pleased with it as a starter. I'll up grade when I can afford to.
