ok, i totally agree with the Tips thread to take superfluous comments outside to here....i'm a total continuity freak, and i just loved the cabojohn 101 instruction post (Sands, you are SO cool), but i got to know what happened to you forefinger between the grinding and the trim saw interval or do you use band aids as a portective device whilst cabbing?

What exactly fractured, John? The slab or your finger? Very nice work and an awesome tutorial.

Since you brought it up, I was kind of wondering the exact same thing ... preferring to imagine it as protective bandaging and not "Dang I took all the skin off of that side" bandaging. So which version is it Sands?

PS ... Awesome tutorial!!

no didnt get a booboo hahaha,, i dont know if i ever said it before i use bandaids or the white first aid tape to tape up the first two joints on each index finger because there the closest to the wheel or belt,, and especially on stargate nite i tend to keep grinding wile im watchin tv hahaha--so its just there for protection when i know im gonna be doin alot of grinding --this way when u smell the bandaid burning its time to pay attention hahaha--ill tell ya it has saved me alot of booboo-s since i dont dop my stones
