Hey, that's neat stuff and very unlike the serpentine we get out here! Are those flecks actually blue and what mineral inclusions are they?....Mel

rockitman: Hematite does make sense. Out here it varies in color from silver to black to purplish in color. Lots of the poppy jasper I mine has hematite or pyrite and lots of our serpentine has metallics too. Think it shows up neater in your light green serpentine though as our serpentine is usually in dark green tones....Mel
