Here's my latest load out of polish. Nice shine, eh? These are some of my first fish. How the heck do you keep the tails from breaking off? I'm still happy with the blue lace one and figure somewhere there's a fish that looks like that. Here are some general cabs that came out okay. And here's the jumbled rest of the tumble.

Nice looking batch, I had the same problem today with my fish when I pulled themout of pre-polish ....tails broken off and my chrysocolla cross I had made broke in half as well(I was pissed off). so, I put my fishies back in the tumbler in polish..so hopefully i will have polished fish in about 14 days to post pics of. keep on tumblin !!!!\ Steve

That 'broken tail' fish looks like a Sunfish to me! Nice batch!

Long live the rock fish! Nice job Herm. I like all 3 pic jaspers the best. But, if you're planning on using the fish in a fishbowl, why bother polishing them? they're going to have the "wet look" sitting in the water!

Herm, That is a really nice batch. The fish that broke reminds me of the mola mola, or ocean sunfish, that is found in the atlantic ocean. Here's a link. www.neseabirds.com/osunfish.htm Weird looking fish. I've never seen one but know people who have.
