Here are a couple of crosses I finished up. I drilled them through the side for the beaders. I had trouble getting the areas near in the center of the cross to polish; still haven't gotten that down. I cut them on my work force. Tumbled; wasn't happy touched them up with the cabbing machine and used my dremel. Re-tumbled; looking better, but still haven't gotten the inside corners that shiny. They are both very pretty. I really like the first one's patterns. Raquel

Now that's something you don't see everyday.. Great idea and I know what ya mean about the tumble not taking to well.. I have a few I put in with shapes and they never seem to stay that way during the duration of the tumble.. and.. Still no closer today on the answer to them keeping their shape and taking on a good shine than I was yesterday.. when you find out.. you gotta let me know.. K? *smiles*

Nice-- I just started a batch of 30 or so (a project for Church)- the center area is a nut to polish- very difficult- what has worked best for me is to start the crosses in 120/220 - half the load crosses- the other half smaller pretumbled (from 60/90) stuff- I give them 3 weeks in 120/220 then touch them up on the dremel (if needed- I'm getting pretty good with the saw blade and usually only have to hit 2 or 3) any that I touch up go BACK to 120/220 for 3 more weeks (sometimes they sit around and wait for a long time as I only cut crosses once a year!
