Wow, that's beautiful. Snowdog knows how long these things take too, you need amazing patience to do them.

Those are just gorgeous. I wonder if people will realize they are stone and how much more timet that takes over using glass. Louis Comfort Tiffany would be proud.

Wow, those look like they took every bit of time someone had for a few months for sure, very cool!! They remind me of the Tiffany lamps that we removed when we were remodeling the Ruby Tuesdays restaraunts in Richmond VA, about 200 of them. They were all auctioned off and replaced with some ugly paper lamp shades.

I have been looking at an agate lamp at a local store. It seemed simpler because it was polish pebbles (flatish on back) that formed the dome insome sort of resin bond. Not sure how they kept the resin off the backs. I have been wondering if it was modled flat and then bent with low heat into the dome shape.
I know that cut pieces are assembled directly into domes, but can't see how they did this with the pebbles and resin.

Yeah, I would have trouble finishing an agate night-light project, let alone anything like that.

Beautiful, but a huge amount of work in those lamps. I can't picture myself making such think, but I like it.
