My wife was getting tired of the rocks scattered around the house, so I had to consolidate them to one area!! The spheres here were all done by hand... The other bookcase... Thanks for looking. Jeff

Nice display shelves Jeff. I remember reading about your first hand-made sphere and it still amazes me how round you manage to get them. I like seeing what everyone does with there polsihed stones. Steve

Oh, wow! The spheres are amazing. You have a great collection going there! Now (purely from a female point of view, and wishing I had such nice display shelves).... Put glass over the shelves, so she doesn't have to dust! Of course, if you dust, disregard this... LOL! What is that big piece in the bottom right in your first pic? Looks amazing. As does your whole collection! Thanks for the pix! K

That is a beautiful way to display them. I usually sell mine by the bag. Tami

yeah at least you have a specific area to display.. I started off like that.. now.. I got little piles all over waiting to be given away , polished , tumbled, or made into cabs.. lol.. I think you did the rock hounds justice with your show rocks.. reminds me of something I need to do again.. ;D Roxy

Karen The rock you asked about has an agate, quartz matrix. I found it a couple of years ago in West Bloomfield, MI. I still don't have the heart to cut it in half to see what the inside looks like . Its about the size of a jumbo melon and weight's about 12lbs. Here's a couple close up pic's. Thanks for looking and asking. Jeff

Nice display. I like your giant martini glasses filled with tumbled stones.
