I was admiring the pietersite blarney picked up a couple of weeks ago and I decided to see if I could find a good deal on some for myself. I found this 21lb chunk of red/gold on ebay and santa delivered it today. There was a fracture splitting the chunk down the middle, so I took a hammer to it and this is what was inside. Merry Christmas to everyone here on RTH, I hope everyone has a wonderful time with friends and family. Ed

Is that Chinese, Ed? Seems like their stuff has a lot less blue than the African type.

I think he could take a hammer to it and STILL have enough solid stuff left to be doing cabs the rest of his days!!! I bet the postman loved delivering that! Merry Christmas to you, too, Ed and keep showing us beautiful things in the new year! Susan

This stuff came from China, but they do sell blue pietersite too, however, the red/gold is usually cheaper than the blue. They have a 9.8oz piece of blue/gold as a buy it now for over $900! You would think it would be mixed with real gold!!! And yes Tony, I really did hit it with a hammer

Santa seems to know exactly what Stoner would like, huh! I like the blue, but I think the red/gold is more dramatic. Can't wait to see the results!

"I'm getting nothin' for Christmas, 'cause I didn't want to be bad!"
Imagine that sung in a sultry voice. My husband almost fell over when he heard that song!
So what does "bad" mean, Stoner? ;D
Merry Christmas!
