All of this stuff came off the Rio Grande River with the exception of a piece of plume that came off the Pecos River. One piece of flint just because we have so much of it out here. [/img]

Very nice rocks. So similar to a lot of the Woodward type agates. Of course, it's along the same areas. Great shine on them.

Thanks for the kind words. This batch looks much better than in the picts. My wife and I picked up several 5 gallon bucketts full of moss agate last trip to the river. Fun stuff to work with.
We live on the west side of the Tex. hill country.
I love gravel pits. Just got access to another one in west Tex.
You can never have to many places to go rock hunting or to many rocks.

Nice looking batch Jeff. I love working with red mossy material like that, and it does look a lot like WWR material. Since you live in W Texas, why don't you come out to WWR in March with the rest of us?
