I've posted a new webpage of a few finds from our 2nd visit to Ivey Farms. We've found alot more amethyst this time...many broken crystals that will be perfect for tumbled jewelry. Plus we found a few really pretty pieces that I'll save for our official "collection". *grins*

If anyone has suggestions about cleaning crystal, please let me know. Oxalic Acid seems to not remove everything....is this a fact of life? It's not clay residue...but some other hard material.

I'll send you some Amethyst from my next trip to JXR in East Georgia. There are some nice stones coming out of there. My cuts have almost healed since my last trip. I am almost able to feed myself again.
