I'm already planning next year's vacation and we're including a little side trip up to Crawford NE. Anybody been there with any info? We are going through Nebraska to Colorado, and to Arches National Park in Utah. Any good stops to make?

Wow, Sweetie, I'll have to look at some maps and itineraries from past years. This is so cool, I hardly ever find anybody who seems to be into driving long distances in the west. Where are you coming from, I forget? pup

My boyfriend and I love to take road trips! We will be coming from Minnesota to Nebraska and then to Colorado and Utah.

I've got a lot of stuff going on, also, and haven't had time to find Crawford, NE. Are you specifically looking for rockhounding sites, or more general? This year was the first time we were at all rock hounding oriented and we didn't do any searching in NE, no time. Of course the whole time I was longingly reading the rock trails guide and announcing the sites we were driving past. We did do some sightseeing in Nebraska 2 years ago.

More looking for places to go looking for rocks, where I don't have to feel paranoid about running from the fuzz...Just imagine it, quick! Here they come! Drop your rocks and run!
