I just went to Colorado a couple weeks ago. There is a place called Rabbit Valley Park on I-70 on the south side between Junstion City and the Utah line. We started on the top of some hills where there were a lot of large bolders and found nothing. We the went just a little father into the park and we noticed some washes about 8 foot deep and maybe 15 foot wide. We got out of our car a followed the wash about 1/4+ mile and found all kinds of neat stuff from petrifird wood, jasper, agate, crystals, and what I think might be a Dino bone and a lot of other neat stone that I have not figured out what they are. If you look at the walls of the wash you can see diffrent layer of dirt and the stone layers. Most of the rocks were no larger than 2 pounds. Hope this helps
