I've always marveled at pictures of the high country down there, seeing other landscapes makes me want to visit all the more- and those agates are some of the most awesome I've seen from anywhere!

Wow awesome pictures. Fantastic haul of agate too! If I didn't know where the pictures were taken I'd say it was California's Mojave Desert. The landscapes look very much alike......mel

What are the chances of getting a box of those agates uncut? I'd sure be interested as I am sure some others here will be also.

Ricardo and Claudia, I have to say that the "good" examples you have posted pictures of have got to be among the most incredible agates I've seen, the colors and patterns are just astonishing!
At the same time I think that you must have very high standards with material like that around, I would think that your lesser quality materials would still be quite remarkable and probably would still be attractive to many of up who spend our days working considerable less desirable stock simply because its more readily available.
So not to push you into any business proposition- since you have stated that that is not your interest, I still think a few of us around here would be very appreciative if there was some way to trade or purchase some small quantities of what you consider "poor" material, because I have to think that even that would be very interesting even if only for the novelty of having some Patagonian agate- regardless of whether or not it is top grade to us.
Just a thought....

Thanks! that sounds like something we'd all really appreciate, let me see if I can get the fed-ex number form my company and I'll play the point guy here stateside, I'm sure a few RTH-er's will be delighted to get their hands on even a little piece of this stuff!

It took nearly a whole week for them to clear customs in Argentina but they should be on their way now!

Just so you guys inquiring know, my shipping cost just to get them here from Ricardo and Claudia is close to $10 per piece, so I'll need to pass that along with local shipping charges, hope that's OK with y'all.
But for sure- if you are interested, send me a PM and I'll try to pass some of this along
