Hey, if any RTH'ers are ever going to be on South Vancouver Island, just let me know and I will be more than happy to arrange a time when we can meet up for some rock hounding. We have a few kickass beaches here where you can find red jaspers, dallasite and lots of "ocean cabs" to fuel the tumblers. There is also the Muir fossil bed which is only accessible at low tide but well worth the trip if you bring a camera & your pick. If you want to pay for a day up on Hill 60 you can walk away with a 10gal bucket full of island rhodonite too! Keep my offer in mind, RTH'ers are always welcome here. Just don't freak when you realize how much the ferries cost... We nicknamed this Gilligan's Island beacause of the hassles to get off of it, and you just seem to end up back here no matter what you do ;D
