Moorefield Mine in Amelia Courthouse- pay to dig mine. Found a load of amazonite, some unakite, lots of quartz, some spessartine garnets, and rough amethyst shards. place was in good shape and you can use their shovels and buckets to move your diggings to the sluice. byob(bucket) to take home the allowed 5 gallons of diggings for $10.00. Also found fossil sharks teeth in Westmoreland state park. Other than that, I am still looking too!
