I've posted many trip reports on AZ locations. BAZ helped a lot.

Hi All! *waves* I haven't been on the forum in a loooonng time, since September maybe? I got sucked up into my newly retired husbands gold prospecting hobby but I really am an equal opportunity rocker and would like to get back to looking for cool stuff that doesn't necessarily sparkle. Anyhow we're heading out to Stanton AZ for a New Year's prospecting outing, but we will be taking extra time to explore rocking spots in the area (we're also going to Oatman, my daughter is dying to see the burros there). So I'll be heading to BAZ's site for location ideas, if anyone else has any thoughts I'd love to hear them. Hope all are well here

OATMAN!?!?! Fire Agate country! I'll PM ya tommorow with the loaction if you'd like.
Be sure to check out the Goldroad Mine there also. The tour is great and worth every penny if you are into gold/mines/rocks. They show you the tiny seam of quartz that "Jose" followed a century or so ago. By the time you get down in the mine they will show you the seam by shining a flashlight up into a tunnel, the seam is something like 20 feet wide! (or so I seem to recall)
Good to see you back here.
PS Alot of the Fire Agate diggings are near a intemitent stream bed, so while Mr. Pine is trying to find black sand you can be hunting Fire!

Is anyone familiar with the Black Hills Rockhound Area? I understand it is a good place to prospect for fire agate.
