Hi all! I needed a break in January so took a trip from Canada to Phoenix. Timed it to hit Quartzite for the rock swap, and then down to Tuscon for the opening of the Rock show there. Holy smokes it's massize! Anyway, here are the pictures. As always, met some really nice folks. I hope to do it again! Best is to "page forward" rather than click Play. There are a lot of notes beneath the pix. www.kodakgallery.com/I.jsp?c=sjt60w7.16idewqv&x=0&y=-p1j6zrBrought home 85 lbs of rough in my luggage. Who needs clothes? Jeff

Thanks for the pics. I went to Quartzite. I'm still shivering from sleeping in a tent in 22 degree weather. I loved it. My DW hated it.

Thanks for sharing. To all you rock-hounds- Quartzite and Tuscon are rock-hound meccas and must be visited at least once in your life time.

That is soo cool! Loved all your pictures and the captions. It really blows my mind, the expanse of rock! Really, who buys that gigantic stuff??
One day I still plan to go to Quartzite. Hmmm, if I make it all the way on my own to Jamie's field trip, maybe I can make it to Quartzite sooner than I thought!
