Yep,
Another field trip report from Timmers secret spot. My brother is visiting from Ohio, and we planned another outing to Mr. Hale's secret hunting grounds. The first time we went down we had such a great time, that a 2nd trip was definitely on our minds. We left Saturday morning about 6am and arrived at the hunting grounds at close to 9:30am. It was a perfect day, and my brother was stoked to be out of Ohio and back home again.
Here is a small visitor that didn't understand the shade of my backpack was not a good hiding place.
Tim was kind enough to give us a general location of his super find, and we were actually able to find it. Just a few shots of the dino that Timmer found....this is TOO COOL! My brother and I were so excited to be able to check it out. I definitley think Tim has found a full skeleton, and I am stoked for him and his find. I hope that he is included in the excavating of it, and I hope he is recognized for his find.
We then headed up the wash a ways to dig up more wood that we had found the previous trip. Here's a shot of the material we've dug up and it's there waiting for whoever stumbles on it.
Just a few shots of some of the scenery.
A slot canyon we found. Really cool!
It was a fun couple of days, and I found one really nice piece of wood, about a 4" diamater full round, and a few other nice things. Haven't had any time to clean any of the stuff up, but will try to get some washed and posted. Thanks again Tim for opening up my eyes to different hunting grounds, and for sharing your secret spot to us.
